With the full release of TT i though to celebrate this with a competition about the flamethrowers

HOW DIS IS GONNA WORK:

There will be 2 categories for this:
Red Flame (Venture flamethrower) and Blue Flame (EXP Flamethrower)

When you summit a tech for a category it will get points based on the following:
Amount of flamethrowers, Durability (against R&D turrets, i'll test Red Flame techs if you can't), Firepower
(heh), Laggyness, etc. (like drones, unique design of the tech etc...)
Size of the tech will get your tech put in a sub-category

Da rewards:

we're gonna have banners for 1st place of each category:

we might do subcategories for smaller techs and larger techs (and hopefully get banners for those if we do)

Da rules:
1. Only 1 tech per flamethrower (one per category)
2. Flamethrowers
MUST be the main way of attack (dis doesn't apply as much to drones if you put drones on there, but we still suggest flamethrowers are it's best way of attack)
3. No Cruise Missiles, they are OP for this, other missiles can be used but flamethrowers must still be main weapon, if i feel like a tech has too many missiles on it i'll request that you remove, replace some of the missiles.
3.1. Still try to keep flamethrower as main weapon even if it has guns on it, a tech can be requested to remove some of it's weapons if i feel like there's too many (excludes flamethrowers).

TURRETS/BRICKS FOR TESTING:
If you'd like to summit turrets/battery bricks for testing (aka finding the winner) you are allowed to do that

Rules for Turret/Bricks:
4.NO missiles on turrets, the last 2 turrets will be removed by another tech before testing begins (railgun turret and missile turret will be destroyed)
4.1 Megatons, Gigatons, weapons like those are also not allowed as they would just destroy the tech completely (may be excused if it a "one of the last ones" turrets)
5. Turrets should be a bit difficult to destroy (look towards the hawk ones just not the last 2)
6.Bricks should be stronger than The Brick when submitting bricks.
The Brick.png
Your bricks should last longer than this one.
7.NO weapons on bricks, the main point of these bricks is to see how fast a tech can destroy one of these battery bricks, we don't want them killing our techs, just the turrets.

Competition will end on Sep. 1 (Aug. 24 at first) (my local time so it might end earlier or later than expected)

Hello @Seth_Seth!

I have a brick we could use, but I'll only be able to post it either later (unlikely) or tomorrow.

Otherwise, I really liked the way you wrote that.

Also, what about Megaton/Gigaton/Battleship Cannons on turrets?

Also, if I post a tech prior to the end date, can I replace it if I make something better???

Brick V3.png
My submission for a brick.
Seems better than @JimmyBlether's brick, although it's way, way, way more laggy.
OG Brick: bout 50-52 seconds
Jimmy Brick: bout 50-51 seconds
My Brick: about 3mins 24secs, minus the lag from this thing.
Lag is pretty bad, considering killing the OG brick took a min and a half, so my brick was about 2 mins actually.
I used Fumes to destroy all the bricks.

Times taken from when I moved to attack not from actually doing damage (I was about 6-8 R&D tiles away)
@JimmyBlether's Brick: 55s - Harder to get going but once within the skin it goes pretty fast.
@NotExactlyHero's Brick: 2m 55s - Batteries down by 1m30s ish, most of the internals gutted by about 1:40, but took longer to kill because my flame throwers couldn't reach the cabs so had to take out more wall to make it lean over.

OG?

My brick was meant to be around the same size as the original.

Yours is larger so it is obviously tougher.

Thanks for the times, i'll be able to know where to put these (after The Brick).

I probably won't suffer from any lag from that brick tho

For Brick Destruction we'll run every tech submitted to destroy the brick(s) as fast as possible, the test will be ran 3 times and the average will be the tech's time

i kinda want to see some turrets tho (just follow da rules pls)

I thought of it enough to put something together for each category ;).
I'll post them soon. I just want to get a few videos done for them first.

Have a good one [8D)
oh boy...

Meh. It is made out of all GSO Blocks, to be fair. Although it is quite large. Point taken?
It seemed to me that your's isn't that better than the OG brick, even with it's new technology. I think it went a bit to far in the aesthetics, which is fine. Speaking of aesthetics, it looks super good. Those block magnets are super annoying though. Useful, but annoying.

It's too tall? What a shame. Yay for excessive cabs.
Since all of the batteries are in the core, it makes sense that gutting it would take a few seconds afterwards.

Well, to conventional weapons, last time I tested it, it lasted longer.
