Trello Board for Voting and tracking fix status

Hey guys,

One tool I've used for tracking, prioritising and voting on software issues is Trello. Have you tried it to see if would be useful for the beta testing?

Hi Ben,

Yes we actually use trello internally to track suggestions, tasks and bugs. I'm also guessing from your name that you're a proponent of the Agile method, which we also use, including sprints, daily standups and that sort of malarky, ask our producer u/saiwun if your interested in hearing more.

You're welcome to organise and moderate a public beta trello board to help highlight and promote common concerns with the game if you like. Rest assured that we are tracking all the feedback that we encounter privately too though, and we try to monitor the frequency of repeat issues when we encounter feedback to establish some idea of what the most irksome issues are for our players at any one time.

Having looked at your board, some notes on the current cards:
  • Base shield not working - this is tasked to be fixed this week, if all goes according to plan we may have an update for you guys on this by the end of the week.
  • Camera can't see under the vehicles - I have a task to write up a camera improvements spec this week, it may be worked on next week at the earliest, but we'll have to see.
  • Too many enemies - i actually made several balancing tweaks that should have toned this down significantly which were released in the last update. Please have another go after updating and let me know how you get on. Changes included increased minimum spawn range, meaning enemies spawn further away from you, increased spawn wave countdown timers, meaning they spawn less frequently, the re-introduction of fixed enemy waves early in the game, meaning for the first 8 or so waves only small enemies from a defined list will spawn, and only at the rate of one every 45 seconds. After those fixed waves the game currently looks at the size of your vehicle and then selects an opponent to spawn whose size is relative to your own, I've balanced it so that for some time all enemies will spawn as smaller vehicles than your own one until gradually after around 25 mins of play when it should be roughly equal to your size, and grow slightly over time thereafter. This is also not the final method by which we will spawn enemies, when thinking of the final game, there are still significant changes to be made to their location and exploration throught he game in relation to your own.
  • No Save / Load - save load is tasked for this week, we'll see how it goes.
