Ready? Here we go.
Guess What. Shrike's back and Better then ever. Now with 4 Different alt Modes. Shrike's Fourth Incarnation, Shrike Phoenix, is the master of Air and Fire. Most of his weapons are Heat or Fire based and he sports Hover support for each Alt Mode. Also Shrike Phoenix is sporting a whole new kind of Alt mode.
You'll see that a bit better in a few. But Yeah, Shrike Phoenix has a Beast Mode.
AND always the Paragon of Mobility, Shrike Phoenix can even traverse the Water Mod.
Spared no Expense. Shrike will be Back in a little bit to take you through his modes one by one, but heres the preview Hope you all like.
Okay, Shrike Here, Time to Take a closer look at My Newest Iteration. Lets start here with Robot Mode.
Built to Hover, The Venture Shrike Mk IV 'Phoenix' Sports a 'Scorn Earth' Ramjet/Hover array in each calf as well as many angular thrusters and independent Hover platforms scattered around it's Frame. It's Bulky Solar Collection Wings are neatly folded into a Backpack unit and is also dotted with thrusters and Hovers to aid in general mobility.
In Robot Mode Shrike Phoenix has Most of its weapons brought to bear. Only the wing mounted Bomb racks are packed away. On each hand is a vicious and highly durable Double Claw for powerful Melee attacks. Twin Plasma Fire Flamers from the Beast Mode's Breath Weapon, as well as a small pulse laser, again from the beast mode head form a searing short range core, and a ring of Avalanche missiles and a rocket battery handle longer range targets. Finally in this form Shrike brings Its quad Thermosphere Morters to bear on midrange targets. These nasty weapons produce small spheres that stick to an opponent and superheat themselves, melting through blocks like butter.
As follow are some more images, because i have them. Be back in a few for the first Alt Mode.
Theres the Thermosphere Mortars up on the shoulders. I especially love the Chest plate with the GT Sheild glowing from beneath the Hoverpad. The banks of wheels tucked into the Shoulder Armor... I'll get to why those are there a bit later. Also i had to redesign the Shrike head. official mods and all...
On that note... Can i maybe get a modder to put the Shrike and Cyclops heads in? i think i have all the blender stuff still. if not i think HeX had an archive of ... literally everything... i ever did with transforming techs. PM me if you might be interested in bringing these two heads back to life for me. also still have a package of sword blocks all modeled. but im not worried about either. as you can see i used what i had in game to make Shrike a new face just fine. Anyways... Back to Phoenix...
All Weapons FIRE!!!
Nother shot of that new head sculpt. Anyways. Stay tuned for the First Alt Mode. Air Mode.
The Venture Shrike Mk IV Phoenix Has Four Modes seperate from it's Combat Robot Mode. Three of these Modes Have been adapted to handle the Myriad of Environments that a Shrike Phoenix might be deployed to. The First of these 'Vehicle' Modes is the Low Altitude Strike Bomber.
Designed for long range Assault and carpet bombing, Shrike in this mode will Assault a target with a potent thermal Missile strike, then bomb the remains off the face of Nuterra before flying off to aquire a new target.
In It's Second Alt Mode, Shrike Phoenix is Master of the Land. In It's Armed Sail Barge Mode, Shrike can navigate any terrain, even hovering above the trees if necessary.
It's supressive missile assault provides a good alpha strike, and it's bomb launchers provide a terrifying deturrant to would be pursuers.
it boasts powerful lateral thrusters for supreme maneuverability. The Wheel banks double as boarding ladders in this mode. More on them later...
With The Third Alt mode and final 'Vehicle' Mode, Shrike Phoenix becomes a Master of the Sea, Flipping over and cupping wings and fuselage into a split Catamaran Hull.
Missiles become Torpedos and the Powerful Plasma Flamers still work underwater.
A veiw from the Skunkworks, without the water mod opacity in the way, rememver this last one is upside down. it flips when it gets in the water. then flips back when going into other modes.
Lastly, but certainly not leastly, Shrike Phoenix's namesake Beast mode, the Phoenix.
This is kind of a terrible pose, but im not quite done programing the animations... deal with it. Breath weapon.
Yeah... i'll get a better picture of that in a little bit.
nice mugshot. okay, so those wheel racks. When it is programed up, this thing is a working hoverbug ornithoptor in beast Mode. Yeah. I went there. I'll have some more details about that system when i get the cycle fully animated and can give you guys a moving picture.
So yeah, The Venture Shrike Mk IV 'Phoenix' Transformer from Mindl3ss_M0dding. Tell me what you think.
