So something with lots of armour and shields. Do you want it to have weapons too?

Me? No.

But hey, if you want guns on it, go nuts.
But, there are plenty of things in R&D now with guns.

What we don't have, is something that we can fire 10 megaton cannons at, and see the damage.
There are some mega invaders, and sometimes we need to deal with a huge yellow block.
It would be handy to have a tester for that scenario.
Also, some huge shielded brick with no guns, is unlikely to drop the FPS much.

I think we should have a tech that regenerates parts. So its like a challenge to be able to destroy him. Have fun!
That sounds fun, but would take new code.

This is just pasting a thing into R&D, and can be done in a few minutes.

I'd say give us one, Goliath/Attacker and one, Gigus/ Defender Something we can click a target to spawn in so it's only there when we need it. and not spamming shells every where?
Like Kitty is talking about.

As Pink Kitty says, we can add additional targets, but cannot add features that require additional code to implement.

Will add a shielded and armoured turret for 0.7.0.3.

Uh, thanks.
But, keep in mind, we already have shielded and slightly armoured turrets.

What i'm after is something representative of those occasional huge invaders made entirely out of Big One blocks and armour.
Like the one i posted.

Something to really pound on. Partly for fun, but mainly to find out how good our tech is at dealing with massive shields and armour.

So he did it for us.

This thing is really handy.
Learned stuff already.

Missiles are cool, but for taking down massive yellow bricks, they aren't brilliant.
For that you need the big cannons.

Well, the point was to have a 'brick' to test out out brick busting capabilities.
To deal with the occasional megaton /battery brick we encounter, Which requires specific designs to defeat.

I think it might be fun to have [ a long way out ] a megaton pyramid with loads of batteries and shields [anchored] to fight. as a graduation exercise.

Just use missiles.

No matter how long it takes, it's a 95% surefire AI exploit, so it's OP.

any of the anchoured tech/structures can NOT fire past the second radar circle unless using missiles (and at present the AI) only starts firing at the inner circle and for mobile techs) starts moving at the second circle, BUT it is not too hard to design a tech using megatons that can hit out to about the third radar circle (the outermost light circle can be done in a 2forward 1 down chassis
