i like sir authur clarke a lot.
his books are fantastic....

one of the best book i ever read was his series 2001 a space odyssey. and of course the 2 books that followed, 2010 and 2061

Total Recall... in that futuristic world, there is no wifi, Arnold needs to find a device to extract and play a video file.

A random question, which kind of quicker-than-light speed travel is the quickest in any Sci-fi?

that would be either a time travel drive(eg dr who) or the infinite improbability drive(hitchhikers guide to the galaxy) the time travel drive can go to any point in the time space matrix( so can arrive BEFORE it leaves), and the infinite improbabililty drive can also travel in the time axis(s) also arriving before departure.
