Ok! Im back with a new sumo tech! BEHOLD, TORQUE MAXIMUS!!!

(you can choose whether-or-not to use the tech because it uses the GEOCORP track acceleration-bug-feature. You choose if it is an exploit or an official sumo allowed trick. Trust me the tech is GOOD)
p.s. It can destroy THE WALUIGI DAB AND THE MATABULL!!!!!!

Hmm, seems like some new blocks have been added to sumo, that changes a lot in the balancing...

Unfortunately, @DerNiepe stopped playing TerraTech.
Therefore, this project is on ice at the moment.
I am more than happy to revive it with someone who has some experience in both, Sumo and streaming.

Regarding the bug and usage of bugs:
As long as the tech is working in the Sumo arena, it is allowed to fight there.
It will be easy bait, as soon as the bug is fixed anyways.

With the recent changes and additional blocks, the whole ranking will be toppled for sure.

Maybe we can persuade @Jamie and/or @Zeena to air an all out sumo-event?
But the last one failed misserably due to only a very low number of contenders.

Let's see what the future holds for sumo.

Yup. It probably will work without the bug and I would really like a sumo stream one day. I'll make a profile post asking everyone if they would be interested.

Also @Chrii_the_Vieh, @Nightblade Greyswandir suggests for the next mixed sumo tournament that there is no matadors, only full-on sumo techs.

Let me explain:
Matadors are using the game to it's full potential AND are a known form of sumo tactics.
If we do not allow Matadors in the "all out, full sumo with everything"-class that would be awkward.

We can discuss to create a league, where matadors are not allowed.
Suggested name: TitansCrash-Sumo or FullPullPower-league

I had in mind to create a league with no fireweapons and no matadors allowed.
Due to the low interest in sumo special leagues here, I didn't consider doing it before the sitting duck league starts off.

OK Chrii, I see your point. Another league would be needed for no-matadors. I like the suggested names for it. I personally do think matadors are a bit overpowered because only one of my techs has beaten the grand champ and it cannot beat any other mixed-corp sumo fighters (TORQUE. MAXIMUMS).

I think WhitePaw made the water mod work anywhere by injecting the code instead of directly coding it into the game files. I'll try later.

Can confirm Sumo works in water. However, any projectiles and explosions caused by the water decelerating the projectiles will self harm. I recommend putting weapons as far away from the water as possible.

I sure didn't, but as said before, your experience in Sumo is a bit low, which can of course be compensated.
I also thought you were gone, so I didn't contact you straight away.
My time scedule doesn't allow for much planning at the moment, so as said above... project is still on ice.

The second beats all the other hawkeye sumo techs like they are tinfoil (apart from one, which did take 'longer' to blow up).

Yes. Sumo is updated again and this wreaks the level playing field.
