I made a new transport tech.

First, the two types of containers it can carry.
This one is for tech transport:
Container_Techs.png
And this one is for block transport:
Container.png

And here is the main part. The ContainerHeli
ContainerHeli.png
It has a block-container connected when you load it in. Press X to activate.
To unload a container simply land the heli on a flat area, and switch to the container. Then just back it away from the heli.
To load one just drive it in under the helicopter, and then you can switch to the heli and fly away. :)

Next generation artillery is on the works. All-terrain, very mobile for its size, and very accurate. By using a modified Z-hinge combined with a locking mechanism, this upcoming artillery vehicle will be the formal version of the Sasha artillery. It will have different variants to suit our needs.

Seen below is the unfinished Tech undergoing rigorous terrain trials.

@Icarus_The_King_Of_Angels here you go. :)

This is Sasha. She weighs 150 tons and fires 200BB custom-tooled cartridges at 10,000 rounds per minute.

Overall, she is a large and relatively heavy artillery piece, and is the first to have a Lemonion "Ballistics Controller" installed, ensuring that she can lock onto an area and keep shelling it. Out of all the artillery pieces, it is arguably one of, if not the most advanced.

Compared to the previous Sasha, there's no need to place any blocks, although there is a manual backup just in case. Much like her sisters, she uses the Z-hinge, but instead of a 1x1 hinge traverse, it's a 2x2.

It's armed and armored to a degree, but shouldn't be in the frontlines as all artillery should. Her mobility and all-terrain capabilities ensure that she is never out of firing positions.

As for variants, there will be a high mobility, high firepower and Iron Peel variants to meet specific battlefield requirements.

Tech Snapshot below
LK_SPG03_Sasha.png

Instructions:
  1. Press "X" to detach the parts.
  2. Control the "Ballistics Controller" at the back. It's the part with the Jackhammer behind it.
  3. WASD controls: W & A depresses and elevates the gun respectively. S & D turns the gun left and right respectively.
  4. Press space to engage the brakes on the gun to keep it from moving. The controller is designed to adjust its position, so it's okay if it moves to the right. It can work whilst travelling, but on harsh terrain, it's recommended to use the brackets provided.

Here's a performance video:

Update: Added next layer of armor on the Grand Lemonship. It's looking bulkier at every update...

And I'm building a walker. Something simpler and smaller than the MK4 Prototype, as it was too ambitious for my current building skills. (And too laggy for my PC). I did learn much from it, so it wasn't a waste of effort. This one, codename "Paladin", will only have 2 joints per leg in the and will have stabilized arms.

Careful with treads perpendicular to the front (on the axial stabilizer), they can cause significant drag and cause walkers to struggle staying upright.

Good news fellow citrizens, due to the 0.7.9.3 update, hoverbugs are now stronger, we can potentially build better armored airships/hoverships now...and hover Landships. And that new GeoCorp harvester block will increase our harvesting output.

I'll get to work.

@Legionite, I'm alright with that - I'm redoing the walker due to this new update: the engine got too strong lol

Here is a heavily armed and armored Hover Landship, the Ashoka. It's named after the hovering land carrier from Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak game.

Aside from heavy firepower, it can also anchor and charge via solar panels and supply power to nearby allies.

At a blistering 55mph and 75mph boosted, this Landship is quite fast. It comes at a cost of lesser armor compared to its brothers, shielding capacity and maneuverability however.

It will have a limited service as a heavy escort and patrol craft.

what if we had a dial to adjust the power of a hoverplate

In the neutral land of Discordia, anything can happen. I found the Duck Republic's president, waddling around with his peoples. We had a friendly conversation. Eventually, it became a conversation of technology...

This is the Muscovy, an angled Hover Tech. It's essentially a floating tank. Its armor, mobility and weaponry is balanced, with a slight bend on firepower and armor.

It's named after a rugged and bulky species of duck.
