Recently, I have been experimenting with cable cars.

First, I tried using 2 resources on parallel tracks to move the cable car.
However, this prototype made changing tracks quite hard and glitchy.

Then, @AstraTheDragon came up with the great idea of placing the resource inside the car instead of on the track. He made a prototype which could easily change tracks with this design. I was quite impressed and decided to use this in my design as well. Then I made my second prototype, shown below.
As you can see, changing tracks is so much easier and faster than my original design, with less glitchyness.

Attached is a Creative save with both the first and second prototypes.

INSTRUCTIONS:
You would need to align the cable car up to the track. Remember to check if the resource is in the car and replace it if needed. Right click the first section of conveyor to start.
(Note: the save has a more updated version of the second prototype, but it's similar enough to the one in the video)

I will make a longer version of this Soon™.

When I saw this, one of my first thoughts was Turning.

Yeah but in a multiplayer creative ( for exemple ) that can be an incredible stylish way to routed compressed bloc for exemple ! or just to have a circuit to do a turn of all the tech made by a community ! Amazing job QuackDuck, I will not turn you into "foie gras" yet !

The final version is complete.
Now with a much longer track and some new track sections. However, I had to get rid of the turbo tracks as they kept phasing the resources out of the cart. I'll make them work one day.

Below is the Creative save for the cable car. Manually align the carts and right click the first conveyor to move them. Check if there is a resource in the cart as they pop out sometimes. The entire journey is about 22 minutes.

Extra screenshot.
