Multiple storage ideas

1: a block that you can open to show all stored materials on that tech

2: a geotech silo that holds tons of materials and keeps them hidden from sight to prevent lag

3: for better future, maybe a dense storage system that allows you to store materials hidden and in a smaller block than geocorp, but with more limited space, like a material SCU storage maybe

4: multifilter, allows you to filter out more specific resources without using ton of filters

The resource blocks already do this. This was discussed awhile ago and @Jamie said in a nutshell that we are going to implement @PinkKitty's (RIP) idea of treasure blocks (The resource blocks) instead of a resource SCU system.

The multifilter is a good idea, and the Geocorp Silo seems smart when you have large crafting bases. But when it comes to storing resources in SCUs not only would it be hard to keep track and EASILY exploitable. At least with the resource blocks you have to scrap them first, making it slightly less exploitable.
