Please I'd like to do in Filipino even though it's not really needed. Though sometimes translating to filipino is not direct translation.

Ok I am just starting right now. What do you mean by "dupes" exactly ?

I can see a lot of mistakes, some in the dictionary, some in the "Translated Text To Find Dupes"

examples : "Géocorp" instead of "Geocorp", "Remerciements spécials" instead of "Remerciement spéciaux" etc... What can I do about this and how ?

The dupes is something at our end to flag where there's multiple instances of the same text so we can ensure translated text can get copied and pasted across all instances. You can probably ignore it for now.

If you see errors that you're confident should be corrected, please amend the text and add a comment to explain the change.

i finally found the forum you ment. I want to translate to german. I'm native german so one of your questions is answered.

I don't know how that "editing of google-translated translations" works. If the GT is right can't i jus remove the '(GT)' and mark it as 'translated' (hawkeye google translation is right)?
And can i add GTs to the sheet if a translation is required and i used google translator to find out what the meaning of it is?

Hi Knuspergreg. If you want, i can show you all and instruct you. You might want to take a look here: Guidlines for German Translation (I just started with it, but youre perfect to help me edit it... ill explain you in german).
Ill answer his question of GT also there in German for him (That it is ok to use it if correct)

Tach Knuspergreg. Ich kann dir im Grunde alles wegen Übersetzen zeigen, auch wenn ich selber noch neu bin und erst seit einer Woche übersetze.
Schau dir mal den Link da an und poste mal alle Fragen die dir in den Sinn kommen, dann kann ich es so editieren, dass Alle Übersetzer sowie frische Neulinge dort sich orientieren können und es einfacher wird zu übersetzen.

Vorab hier mal ein paar Sachen: Wenn Google es "richtig" übersetzt (es gilt ja nicht nur Wörtlich zu übersetzen, sondern auch Sinngemäss, zb Pacemaker (eig Schrittmacher) aber Geschwindigkeitsregler ist viel passender, weil du mit dem Block die Geschwindigkeit regelst xD), kannst du es übernehmen und das GT entfernen sowie den Status auf Translated setzen. (und "Translated by Knuspergreg" dahinter setzen - bei Translater Comments, Spalte I). Wenn du eine Übersetzung findest welche du verbessern kannst, zb Einerblok -> Einerblock | (Laser Targeting) Laser Targeting -> Laserzielerfassung | (Rock Drill) Steinbohrer -> Felsbohrer etc darfst du auch trotz Status Translated es verbessern und mit "Updated by Knuspergreg" vermerken.
Sobald du etwas in der Doc vornimmst wird es sogleich gespeichert, aber man kann jederzeit vorgängige Versionen wiederherstellen. Wenn du dir bei einer Übersetzung oder Verbesserung unsicher bist, einfach in "Deutscher übersetzungsecke" oder so nachfragen/posten.
Was nicht wichtig ist: Du kannst die Filter nutzen um zb alle Google Translated - Zeilen anzeigen zu lassen, aber du darfst die Sortierung nicht verändern (man kann beim Filter auch sagen sortiere mir von A-Z / Z-A und so, dass darf aber sich eben nicht ändern).
Die aktuelle Reihenfolge wird 1:1 benötigt um ins Spiel integriert zu werden, aber wenn du filterst werden bloss Zeilen ausgeblendet und können in der selben alten Reihenfolge wieder angezeigt werden.

It's mainly if you have a translation that you feel needs discussing with other translators. Otherwise, "Translated" is fine.
