UPDATO:

GFX Overhaul:
With new knowledge, comes new effects. Trails for all projectile-based weapons have been modified, with shell tracer roughly associated with shell caliber. All shells now get a fancy railgun shockwave gfx attached to them because I like it. Weapons affected by this change:

- Adaranth-Pattern Macrocannon
- Hawkeye Broadside Phalanx
- Hawkeye Broadside Mount
- Hawkeye Heavy Autocannon (Oerlikon)
- Hawkeye Perses Cruiser Turret (Konigsberg)
- Hawkeye Yamamato Cannon
- GSO Broadside Mount
- GSO Ball Turret


Balance Patch:
- Avenger was overperforming, so recoil has been doubled
- Avenger also gets a new collider around its bullets to make it more likely to hit blocks, since it had a phasing through problem
- Flak has had its explosive radius nerfed to the ground (still a respectable 7 - I think that's in-game battleship cannon)
- Flak has had its reload buffed slightly

UPDATO:

MOAR GFX:
- Hyperion Plasma Lance now has new effects

Balance Patch: (Hyperion only)
- Hyperion felt a bit weak, given it's single-target. As such, the range (both for long range, and short range), has been approx doubled.
- Now does 3000 DPS at 500 range, and an extra 5000 DPS at 100 range
- Firing arcs remain unaffected
- Fixed bug that meant Hyperion would stop firing if there was a block behind line of fire


Affected Packs:
- Scifi Pack

Credit goes to @Rafs for GSO Blowtorch, which provided a way to achieve these effects without overwriting other weapon effects, and @WhitePaw2002 for aid in transform manipulation techniques

Edit: apparently some of the promised effects didn't make it past that specific game, e.g. the beam line remains blue. I'll have to see about that later

UPDATO:

I'm feeling way too lazy for formatting, so you know the drill.
- Hotfix for Hyperion gfx. Have confirmed it works on game restart, so theoretically WYSIWYG.
- Added back colliders, as original issue that I removed them for has been solved

Known Issues:
- particles like to penetrate/teleport through stuff. Nothing I can do about that

- removed railgun circle gfx from smaller-caliber (and thus faster-firing) weapons for performance reasons
- removed unnecessary particle effects on Hyperion (for performance reasons)
- removed incongruous blue hit effect on Hyperion


Balance Patch:
- Removed proximity fuse from Orion Flak for performance reasons
- To compensate:
| - reload rate, damage, accuracy have been buffed
| - Muzzle velocity has been nerfed

UPDATO:

BALANCE PATCH:
- So apparently the VEN cannon has ridiculous DPM, far out of line of what is normal (and I based prior decisions off of that)
- Almost every weapon has been nerfed (exceptions: 40k)
- Damage of nerfed weapons has generally been decreased by a factor of 2 to bring them more in line with Vanilla (should remain maybe 1.5x more powerful due to increased cost)
| - Special Case: Perses Cruiser Turret: damage decreased by a factor of 4
| - Special Case: Heavy Autocannon: damage decreased by a factor of 4
- The following have had their grades updated:
| - Yamamato gun has been moved to HE Grade 4 (craftable only)
| - Phalanx Broadside gun has been moved to HE Grade 4 (craftable only)
- HE Orion Flak has had its shot cooldown adjusted to 0.25
- HE Orion Flak has had its proximity fuse removed for performance reasons, pending introduction of timed fuse


- Corresponding block posts have been updated with more accurate data

i dont have the "Terra Tech Beta/Custom Blocks" directory file on my computer, i have looked through all the terra tech things and haven't found it. do you have to create it?

If the Block Injector doesn't make it when you install it via the terratech mod manager and run the game with it active then most likely
