( Everything is gone in my game too :/ )
Should i just overwrite the files now?
after you switch back to single player move your folders back from appdata. And make zip/7z backup in TT folder, so you can backup your snapshots and savegames from there and not from appdata, if this happen again.

Just copy the Save and Snapshot folder from
C:\Users\*User*\AppData\LocalLow\Payload\TerraTech

back to your gamedirectory:
C:\Steam\steamapps\common\TerraTech Beta

There shouldnt be much new files to overwrite.

Sudden idea: Set all the snapshots and saves as read only, and (at least, I think) they won't be able to be deleted by the game.

Translate to mac language.
Hey Traveel, i dont use a Mac, sorry.

Maybe you try the variant with which I found the files.

Remember the name of a savegame or snapshot and then search for that name.
The name should then appear in the search list and there you have the path where the remaining files are.

Now you just have to find out where your TT is installed and you can copy your files back.

OK... i will never give advises for Mac again. Usually if we make backup on windows that means we made zip or 7z archive and if you know how to make it you will know how to open it and use it (usually)

Is this backup of whole hard disc? If it is recent it should be possible to extract your folders but I have no idea what software you should use.
