Yeah but I said we do it this way because that's how the game detects it in order to strafe, if only it was smarter then we could try different stuff like that.

A ballast block. It's so simple, I don't know why the devs won't do it. I just want a 1x1x2 block with attachment points all around that weighs 16. And another one that weighs 32. No funny business and not much art needed.

It already exists, and WP added an UI for changing the ballast block mass.

And I made a gas ballast that weighs more the higher you go.

I'd like a mod that makes crafting relevant again and adds some challenge. And by "challenge" I don't mean the Venture and BF missions that are so broken they can't be completed.

Short version:
Via a modded Component factory like block (a so called Component Scrapper) that scrap components down to to their lesser tier and/or resources.

More Detail:
The "Component Scrapper" could have it's middle attachment point replaced with some kind of block/item to set it apart from the component factory.

(My Guess: It most likely would behave much like a refinery, but suck up components instead of resources and spit out everything that made up that part.)

This would save on space and often times a lot of performance, and instead of selling items.
Overall, I would claim this to be a very worthwhile addition to the game.

((After reading through this thread, I'm surprised no one ever even considered this yet... So let me be the first... I guess.))

How about a laser that does very little damage, but leaves behind a trail of timed explosives so that everything the laser touches just goes b o o m.
Or an antigrav that affects your entire tech to give it 0 gravity but has a massive energy cost?

I would like to see constructor blocks or platforms that able to construct your saved tech with limited size(maybe other limitations)using blocks in your inventory in a press of a button (maybe let it auto buy missing blocks if shop is attached), cost battery power on activation, power cost and construction time depends on the complexity of the saved tech assigned to that constructor(something like: number of T1 blocks X 0.1 + number of T2 blocks X 0.2 ...+ number of T5 blocks X 0.5 + base time), tech constructed will start with active/follow mode, can be used when enemies are nearby but it's construction area must be clear.

idea for a block mod: an FPV cab that can fly, and attach/detach from from the rest of the tech. you would hit a button to detach, then you can fly around to make repairs, scout out an area, or visit a trading station. then you come back, align the cab with the main tech, then hit the button again to reattach.

A switch that temporarily disables the gyros, so players can work on the balancing issue with the weight of gyros taken into account, then re-enable the gyros as the finishing touch when the tech is fairly balanced.

dispositivo de 2x1 que automáticamente lanza una pequeña ojiva para destruir misiles enemigos que vienen hacia el tech portador dicho dispositivo debe tener un tiempo en el cual no se puede usar calcuo unos 25 segundos sin usar el bloque. ya mi parecer debiera ser de la corporación

la variante para GeoCorp seria algo complicada debido a que pensé en otra idea sobre este bloque y que envés de que la ojiva hiciera eso seria mejor transformar la idea en un lanza bengalas que redirigiera los misiles lejos del tech

en el caso de los Hawkeye me parce que habría que dejar la idea como esta solo guiando el diseño para que se vea como un bloque Hawkeye

me parce que es una buena solución para defenderse de ataques con misiles sobre todo si tu TECH es vulnerable y sus escudos no duran mucho



sinceramente me pondría a hacerlo yo pero nunca fui bueno haciendo mi propio modding y ademas tengo poco tiempo libre, si alguien lo llega a hacer les pido que tiren créditos a la idea original porfavor

the variant for GeoCorp would be somewhat complicated because I thought of another idea on this block and that instead of the warhead doing that it would be better to transform the idea into a flare launcher that would redirect the missiles away from the tech


Hawkeye


In the case of the Hawkeye, it seems to me that the idea should be left as it is, only guiding the design so that it looks like a Hawkeye block


I think it is a good solution to defend against missile attacks especially if your TECH is vulnerable and its shields do not last long


I would honestly do it myself but I was never good at doing my own modding and also I have little free time, if someone does it I ask you to throw credits to the original idea please

Short Ver: Legs, for Bipedal, for Quad-pedal and bug type.

Long Ver: 1 to 2 sets of bipedal legs for each faction, 1-leg block of beast type legs for each faction and 1-leg to 3-legs of bug type blocks for each faction.
