CR-17 High-Speed Skimmer Frigate
Skimmer Frigate.png
While not the best ship out there, the CR-17 High-Speed Skimmer Frigate is vastly one of the fastest TAC ships ever made, reaching speeds beyond what other TAC ships were able to achieve. The catch is is that this ship is very flimsy in comparison to the other ships, making it easy to sink-but if you can hit it, that is.

Lore

After trying to figure out how to get a ship to go faster, the TAC Naval Division was having difficulty getting a ship to turn correctly. The CR(Current Racer)-17 was actually a reject that they tossed into service, but it was the only stable prototype made that didn't explode into a million pieces after turning on the water.
The result was an extremely fast frigate that was hard to take down with almost any known ballistic weapon.

It is also planned to go into service as a high-speed ferry.

Uhh... can you actually say how fast it goes? Because I'm a bit too lazy to try it out for myself.
