Been trying to get my Oculus Rift to work with the game via 3rd party drivers (Vireio Perception), but just can't manage to turn the game into stereoscopic 3d. Odd because I thought Unity was compatible with it.

Any thoughts on making the game compatible with the Oculus rift or other stereoscopic headsets?

I recently read an article where a developer was working on getting the occulus rift to work for his game. His game was similar with a 3rd person camera and you controlled little people in the game world. None of the standard rift settings looked/felt right. He then tried moving the 'eyes' farther apart. Meaning, the cameras set for each eye in 1st person mode are too close together for 3rd person mode. Doing this worked.
I'm also a developer in unity (only just started a couple months ago) so I'm very interested in this stuff.
