If NOVA wants techs, then I will pitch in....

BEHOLD!!

The NOVA Troop Carrier!
1667510500991.png

It functions just as it says on the tin: a fast action moderately armored troop transport that can carry 8 troopers at once,
also acting as a suppressive-fire vehicle to give the troops a chance to make it to where they need to go.

Do you wish to join our faction? If so, you can choose between Trooper, Lancer, or Auxiliary Corp. You can read more details on our recruitment policy in the first page
Yeah, I'll join the Auxillary Corp. Not too many people in that wing.

as my motivation for ships dwindle, two of my greatest swarmships are sitting in my hangars, collecting dust. I have decided to give them to NOVA, hoping so they can fulfill their righteous purpose. Glorious battle. the ESFM Hiveguard is the most formidable swarmship to date, accompanying 16 TAC alerus fighter bays, it can launch up to 96 tempest jet fighters. it has a displacement of 28,177 tons, and is suprisingly agile. In warspace it is escorted by three ESFM Tempest swarmships. it's top speed is 92mph and its boosting speed is 144mph. it is equipped with several standby generators, which allow the Hiveguard to regenerate absurd amounts of energy, with a power capacity of 20,450,000u. It's final cost is 42,296,742. (do I have to give the snapshot, or is this post format ok?)

The second Swarmship is the ESFM tempest. it is a much smaller swarmship, acting as a fleet escort and a spearhead force. manned with four quad auto cannons, the tempest can hit targets almost anywhere. it does not have as much battery rejuvenation as the Hiveguard, but it has the manpower, as it accompanies twelve fighter bays, launching 72 tempest drones in total. only displacing 6,281 tons and carrying 3,650,000u of power. it has a flat top speed of 121mph and a boost top speed of 191 mph.

(this is a tempest drone. it has a top speed of 343 Mph, so it is a very tough target to hit.)

I'm planning on building a new fleet of vehicles, but I've had one sitting around for a bit. meet the NOVA lobber(it uses the GSO plus mod for the missiles):

I wanted to build a long-range artillery, but when I loaded up my main building world and noticed several unnamed and unused techs, I decided to test them, and give them their designation and send them to their proper divisions, and this is one. The Lobber is what it's name suggests: it's a medium range artillery that 'lobs' missiles at it's enemies. Due to not being a frontline tech, it's armor isn't too strong. The wheel choice is to allow it to have amazing grip to let it get a positional advantage to it's foe. I'll work on more ground-based techs before returning to the skies with my aircraft and the NASF-01. Until then, enjoy!

Is this meant to be unmanned? I think it'd be nice to see a trooper driving it, and perhaps a couple of engineers on the back?

These are very good, and I think you have proven to be capable of holding a higher rank, I'm promoting you to Rear Admiral effective immediately. As a bonus I'm commissioning 4 new Ashford-class Frigates and a Burnham-class Heavy Destroyer to your command, these vessels should prove to be an effective addition to your fleet
thank you very much! I take this promotion with honor

Well, the vehicle itself came from a batch of old designs. For NOVA's case, it's remotely controlled, due to it being roughly as large as the Jackknife, without the wings or the janky fishtail style tail assembly.

quick question are brainwashed daleks allowed to be used on dropships?
I have never heard nor witnessed any dalek than can be brainwashed, because their entire physiology has been modified for warfare, I would assume they have some counter measures for resisting psy-ops such as brainwashing.

That being said, we have some unconfirmed intel about Dalek Caan, one of the only 4 daleks who ever had names. Caan was a member of the Cult of Skaro who was tasked to think creatively, like their enemies, and find new ways to achieve victory. However, following a certain incident, Caan was exposed to the space-time continuum, which drove him mad. This exposure to the space-time continuum made Caan realize how destructive the dalek race is and ultimately he made plans for their downfall, betraying his own race in the process
