Agreed on looking amazing and the naming of the stable updates as these are supposed to be milestones for the game. Also looking forwards to more of these blogs.

Are you re-adding the sub biome parts to the mountains you removed a couple updates back? hope so because I really liked those as it seemed more mountainous with the deep canyons and such (but was a total pitb with out boosters or springer wheels to traverse). Was really looking forward to making bridges and ramps to traverse it better as that would be needed (would need ability to drive on blocks though).

Are the giant pillars in some of the screenshots newly added or is it random if they spawn in? When I found a pillar biome (7k-8k out in both cords. Man that's far to travel without planes which was how I found it btw. The rather short view distance did not help as I spent a lot of time, probably an hour, just flying around looking and getting lost a lot. Could really use that map and marker system soon....) it was nothing but the small trade station-ish sized ones.

What do we need to do to remove the HUD User Interface Elements for said/asked for screenshots? As those ones look amazing but not so much with the clutter of the HUD UIE. Is there an option to do this? Also a free cam or cam position adjustments to get those offset tech shots like you have since it looks pretty bleh (not impressive or cool) with the techs always centered. If not when can we hope to see this if at all?

I think this could really help the game out more if we the players (streamers, youtubers, and just players in general with screenshots) can show the game off more like this (free advertising for you and whatnot) as most of us like to show off what we have done.

I love all the new biome,especially the rare one ( with the light that go to the sky ) the pillar allow to make base with strong wall ( to filter the mexican tech ;) ) that cool =), I love base with strong wall

We have been kinda naming updates for the last few Stables. I just don't go overboard with the marketing side of it as some players will likely prefer to have things numbered.

Just a question: after the "Whole New World" update (AKA version 0.7.5/0.8 (0.8 makes more sense as the update completely overhauls the entire world generation system, which is pretty big)), how many more stable updates do you think you are going to release before 1.0? In my opinion, it would make sense to make this update 0.8, make multiplayer 0.9 (with 0.8.1, 0.8.2 etc. in between) and then, instead of 0.10, the next large update could be 1.0. I'm not a developer though!

But back to the original question I was making, how many more stable updates do you think you will release before the 1.0 update, not including the "Whole New World" update?

Not as big as the things we have in mind for 0.8 release ;)

We joke about what features will mark 0.8 and 0.9 -- and world generation system overhauls aren't big enough :p
One of these is multiplayer... second can be some magical update that will give all of us 60 fps...

Can you try this again? Think I may have fixed something with it.

Unfortunately i'm not sure what can be done about the other images. Have you tried viewing it on another browser? Internet Explorer/Google Chrome etc.
the pictures are now loading for me on palemoon

One of these is multiplayer... second can be some magical update that will give all of us 60 fps...
based upon past changes,
one could be a NEW (yet again) crafting system,
or another corporation,
or working ai(probably not as this is extremely difficult to do and would get wrecked by any new blocks with different functions)
or the often requested key remapping extensions
