Make the resource blocks self scrapping?

yes, make the Resource blocks self scrapping, put an Output node on one end, so you can hook it up to a conveyor. then you don't have to worry about if you have the right Scrapper for your resources. you would probably have to keep partial blocks "In the world." meaning that the SCU destroys them. and that they don't "Heal" from repair fields, because that would make the resource block a game breaker. (Note: you could make a level 2 self scrapping Resource block that requires X refined Chunks, and a single tier one component.)

And another thing, if a block can use an unrefined resource, is there any particular reason (other than simplifying the crafting calls) that if you are out of an unrefined chunks, that a refined chunk could be called if available?.

Hmm I don't know how well that will fit with the lore though.
Acquiring all scrappers is a pain and a waste of space for sure, however...

I agree that we should be able to use refined versions of blocks when out of the unrefined. It isn't even like we need more than one raw chunk to produce a refined chunk either, so why not get one headache out of the way?
