I played robocraft in the past. Y'know, the game where you build stuff and fight people with stuff?

Better Future laser rifle: Rail cannon from robocraft

Better Future Hover rings: Hovers from robocraft

Better Future Halo wheels: Wheels from robocraft

Better Future boosters: The inside of them almost completely represents the boosters from robocraft

The interesting question is: what influences inspired the art team of Robocraft, and did Payload personnel see those same influences? Everything is a remix of previous things, when you look deep enough. (And obviously the new TT blocks are all original content, as much as that's possible.:))

Okay, wheels, sure. But the laser rifle?
Also, seeing all the possibly unintentional references got me back into the game. How the world has changed.

Also the asset flipping thing was a joke

Minecraft was based off another game. It looks pretty much the same though.

There is a somewhat frequently discussed question among music majors, and it's
"Has all the good melody lines already been written?"
And the answer is probably somewhere in between YES or "Almost, in the context of the generic 4/4 time, 13 note system"
Should musicians stop writing music altogether? lol
Mmmmmaybe. But that wouldn't be fun.

Considering it was based off of Dwarf Fortress (among some others), which completely lacks graphics (well, technically the characters it displays are from an image file, but still), it is a bit odd to say it looks pretty much the same.

As a musician myself, i totally agree. There was a nice issue between Red Hot Chili Peppers and Tom Petty with a song called Dani California. Tom Petty was asked why he didn't sue for copyrights. He said thats the way of music. Just have fun.
