Stable 0.7.5

Loaded up and the back ground video had missing terrain like you are underground, then transitioned to a black screen for next fight, then crashed. No pic as it happened when I was afk and just returning when I saw it.

just tested the 0.7.5 32 bit on 32 bit windows 7, got an out of memory crash before the load of the menu, so in my opinion the 7.5 is NOT 32 bit capable
From the output log it would seem this is the key entry:

DynamicHeapAllocator allocation probe 4 failed - Could not get memory for large allocation 1048603.
DynamicHeapAllocator allocation probe 1 failed - Could not get memory for large allocation 2097179.

Given headers and the like in order to parse data these would seem to be thresholds for 1Gb and 2Gb

@harpo99999 Given that you have access to a 32 bit OS would you be willing to retry 0.7.5 Stable 32 bit under /3gt conditions with LAA.exe applied to see if that combination permits TerraTech to load to the main menu?

sorry zed, but I will NOT use the laa and windows larger exe switches as they significantly destablise the os as the 32 bitter is my main use research and programming comp

Understandable; I was unaware of the deleterious effect of the /3gb switch had upon windows 7 as I converted from 32 bit to 64 bit upon release of win xp x64 and skipped vista entirely. Regarding LAA as it is applied to individual .exes I am unaware of how it could have any impact upon an entire operating system. Perhaps I should hunt down a Cd key of win 7 32 bit pro for testing purposes though I would wish to know if my old 9800GX2 meets Terratech's requirements beforehand.

Crash on loading campaign game save. Error in log is "Write to location 00000001 caused an access violation"

Saved game unplayable. This makes me a sad panda.

zed, the same install key can be used for 32 bit and 64 bit, it just depends upon the install media being 32 bit or 64 bit, there is one other plus for the 32 bit and that it has a lot better backward compatability to very old windows software ie before 2004 release, with 64 bit there is a fair chance that the software will not install or run (ie the macromedia installers and other 16 bit software), but such software often installs and runs on the 32 bitters
and the old geforce 9800gx2 would be a bit more powerful than my geforce 430 so go for it

Sounds like an interesting project after the fourth as long as I am able to use a 64 bit win7 home prem key on a 32 bit ISO. Regarding 16 bit gems like sim city classic for windows I have a small gaggle of xp machines still in an IPX monastery on an isolated switch which are mostly 586D's and a couple IC2Ds but for the test theres a q6700 I can pair with the 9800gx2. Gives me a reason to use the aleratec duplicator at any rate.

the windows install keys relate to the window release level ie home professional or ultimate not the 32 or 64 bit factor, for terratech the main factors are
1. cpu ghz,
2. mobo ram
then a poor last is gpu

I've had seemingly random crashes when near my manufacturing/storage base.

Once or twice per day, with no progress lost (good save functionality, guys), just returning and continuing OK. Until yesterday, when driving back into range of the base, or switching to the factory platform itself repeatedly caused a crash. With a final, manual save of the game near by instantly crashing every time it is loaded (see individual campaign .sav attached).

Have also uploaded a zip of all my crash dumps, mostly the same circumstances, though possibly 1 or 2 were something else, I forget. I can provide another save game from just before this borked one, and older saves, as I manually archive daily (force of habit). Hence I don't need this save fixing for me. (Great game, really enjoying! :))

Ryzen 5 1600x, MSI B350M Mortar Motherboard, MSI GTX1060, 16GB DDR4 @2666MHz, Samsung 960Evo M.2 512GB, Win10 Pro 64. TerrarTech full release v0.7.5 (run full screen).
