UPDATED October 4, 2020

Mod Requirements:
-Weapons Group Mod from TTMM

-Buff Blocks mod from TTMM
-Raf's Blocks
-TAC Packs
-Hawkeye Black Labs Packs
-Lemon Kingdom Iron Rind Shield (just get the whole pack :D)

Tactical Nuclear Strike Jet

TAC NuclearBomber X2.png

Using TAC Jet Engine and wing technology, I created my first aircraft capable of reaching up to 300mph while carrying a massively destructive payload. In TT terms, it may as well be supersonic. Equipped with advanced radar sensors, a skilled pilot can hit either one or several targets, all while staying well beyond the reach of most kinds of retaliation.SB7.png

It carries 8x TAC Tactical Nukes (however, with the lift and thrust capacity, its hard to say what other load-outs it could be fitted with...) The main objective behind the design is to strike the target with overwhelming force and be far away before they have any idea what hit them. While not intended for dogfights, it does have several wing tip mounted auto cannons that will rip through light craft, though one should never discount that the homing capability of its nuclear missiles make it a lethal threat to slower moving vehicles in Air to Ground and Air to Air situations. LK Iron Rind shielding powered by several self recharging TAC precipitator batteries allow it to shrug off many conventional attacks while supplying some degree of self repair capability, as long as it doesn't take too much sustained fire. In the worst case scenario, the cabin is a TAC hoverbug capable of emergency ejection.

Capable of a near zero point take off, It is designed to operate with 4x TAC Bell thrusters constantly active, though they are not required to achieve ~250mph speeds. Carrying 3x fuel compressors, it can maintain its maximum flight speed for several minutes before requiring a rest. A truly impressive craft considering its maneuverability relative to the firepower and durability.

TAC Nuke Bomber UPDATED for October 30, 2020
(yeah I know its posted twice but I'm too lazy to merge it all and delete :D)
Well I can't seem to upload right now, but I've updated my TAC techs to have the proper fuel capacity after the latest update.
To avoid posting more duplicate stuff here, any tech updates in the future will be in my thread.

-Hawkeye Black Labs Packs
-Lemon Kingdom Iron Rind Shield (just get the whole pack :D)

I may update it for further optimization, as well as add swivels to the missile pods to assist in the aiming - right now it functions more like a torpedo/rocket bomber. You will need to face in the general direction of the target to ensure a lock.

A few things to note:

Most of all, this requires TAC Pack obviously, as well as Hawkeye Black Labs accessories+flight blocks, and the LK Iron Rind Shield. I suggest downloading all of the mod packs!

1. It handles best at max speed (engines+thrusters).
2. Due to the high speed of the plane relative to the firing velocity of the missiles, you should make sure to stay straight while firing. It is entirely possible to run into your own missiles :D
3. You may also want to slow your approach velocity before actually firing. If you are moving faster than you can load objects in your field of view, things become tricky.

Have a blast

can someone please upload some downloads for the techs?
Not sure which techs you are referring to, but if you mean like stuff that is posted here, I'll give a useful tip. You can copy snapshot .png files to your tech snapshot directory, and they will load into the game. It MUST be a snapshot .png, though. They have a slightly different look from normal screenshots, most notably the fact that they don't contain any UI elements, have a 'more grainy' texture, and often it is implied that they are available for copying. The reason they are shared like this is because they require mods that aren't officially supported, and because it is just that simple.

Not at all but I'm not entirely sure how to share modded techs other than to do it in game, which I am happy to do if you want.
Simply find the folder that your tech snapshots are stored in and post the .png file of said tech. Noting that if it requires mods, you should list them all, if relevant.

Here it is.

Tech requires:
-Rafs Customs blocks
-TAC block pack
-Hawkeye Black labs Block pack -

-Buff blocks and Control blocks from TTMM

For the Main weapon you need the Avenger from Soz's Custom blocks: Air pack, found here:https://forum.terratechgame.com/index.php?threads/sozs-custom-blocks-flsoz-sozin.20304/

I'm not sure if control schemes for the swivel blocks will carry over, but i have them set to act like weapons so they will aim at any target that comes into range.

I would love to know if there are any improvements I could make.
The tech can anchor but i didn't feel like putting any solar panels on it just so no one is confused

Use this instead. Hawkeye RTGs. These generates power regardless of resource, require no anchoring. Can consider as bit of cheat items.

Happy Halloween!

Version 0.5 "Base and Space Update" is Out!
+ BASES! 100% nomad base system capable of running un-anchored. Recipes will no longer keep you out of a fight!
+ The HUGE Zephyrus Antigravity bubble which works perfectly in combination with the Garnigho Spaceship Engine.
(currently the Zephyrus' drain on volume is 0.325 energy per sec, please let me know if that should be changed - Better Future's ECO is 0.30 for reference)
+ The modular wings are FIXED! They no longer have control issues and will handle correctly now.
20201025144046_1.jpg

+ Pacemaker that slightly buffs everything but makes all blocks slightly more prone to falling off (Requires Buff blocks TTMM Mod)
+ Some TAC missiles work underwater now, -excluding the ICBM because it's too powerful
+ Revised Compressors for consistency and new Active Intakes!
+ Diagonal turrets! HUGE armor-melting laser cannons!
+ Smol battery and high-density but DANGER battery!
+ A Cab that transforms into a little adorable mini-jet
+ Repair bees now do what they do best!
+ Shield that blocks explosives! <- WARNING: May be rebalanced!
+ More overhauled visuals!
+ More detailing blocks!
TAC_0_5Update.jpg

Have a Space Battleship Amaterasu (64 blocks long) for an example of a Garnigho-Antigrav ship:
TAC SB Amaterasu F.png
+ Less laggy, and thus, better performing compared to a comparably-sized hoverbug ship, thanks to greatly reduced hover particles.

- A similarly sized ship using vanilla blocks would be around 8,000,000 BB
This is 30,000,000 BB!

- WATCH THAT FUEL BAR - once it hits zero you will be sitting there for quite the time.
