if you have any spare time, could you please make some basic blocks for TAC? like a one block that doesn't look like a mushroom or some basic slopes like the ones they have in hawkeye? if you can't, that's 100% fine, this was just something that was bothering me.
The mushroom IS the basic block, sort of a drawback to how strong it is

So the one block is mushroom, two block is the diagonal heresy.

(The Blocks below ware going in next update along with the planned wings and legs)
(although the block below is contradictory to the above - Also subject to CHANGE)

Yes you can combine two of these 4-blocks to make a single 2x2x2 "block"

The U block is the five block and the Anvil is the six block.


Since we have Tesla coil in terratech, may I request an electric arc launcher weapon like the special wave cannon on r-13a cerberus form R-Type Delta
A sneak peek at the plans, and while they aren't coming next update, maybe the update after:

---EPMC Parts---
Inspired by R-Type's Wave Cannons
Takes time to charge and time while spacebar is held, and when firing nullifies nearby shots
Also doesn't have much health either
Deals energy damage, but so much and with an explosion radius it is ABSOLUTELY lethal
Will be set apart by a little icon at the lower left with a charge bar in the block icon

[EPMC] = Heavy EPMC Cannon - Not the same as Toothpaste laser
Getting hit once will reset ALL charge

infact the fighter parts are also inspired by R-Type


Edit: @Helios found a serious balance problem with the Particle Cannon: Nerfing base damage from 600000 to 6000

Also found a number of pressing cost-related issues with TAC blocks.
Next update will patch the 2992 BB that plagues almost all TAC basic blocks.

Nice! I'm a big fan of the R-type series, may I also request the rapid-fire wave cannon on the R-90 Ragnarok, this one can be a good fun!

oh sorry if I was being a bit vague but I meant that I would've liked a block that isn't too tough but has attach points all around it because I hate having to use normal hawkeye blocks to make tac techs. if you don't make them it's 100% fine

EPMC cannons are so fun :D This is 105 "small" cannons firing at once. The tech itself is a hybrid of parts from TAC and FSI, basically a giant floating reactor used as a mobile command center and a platform for testing extreme energy weapons. These are walls 9 layers thick of HE 6 blocks that I use as a sort of ballistics target.

The blast blows right through the first wall, rips the second one in half and off its anchors, smashes the 3rd off its anchors and the rest of the blasts disperse out through the 4th wall. This is all taking place over a few seconds, in action it kind of looks a bit like a giant lightning bolt. Great fireworks show! Some of the blasts hit each other, causing this sort of hyper accelerated shotgun blast effect you can see ripped out a chunk on the right side of the 3rd wall.

The scale of these things is absolutely massive in TT terms. So yeah, considering just one of the cannons from this blast would turn most techs to dust, a nerf may have been warranted. Can't wait to get a hold of the bigger versions :rolleyes:
