TerraTech is for everyone. As such, we want the community that flourishes around it to be as welcoming as the game itself. We want you as a member of this community to help us ensure that newcomers are welcomed with open arms and encouraged to participate with fellow community members and the TerraTech development team.
This may include diffusing arguments, answering questions or ensuring that their questions are answered by a member of the dev team, but there are also a few other guidelines – some more obvious than others – that we'd like you to abide by when interacting with the TerraTech community.

Invader Creation and Sharing Rules
1. No cheating. This includes modifying the game files in any way in order to give yourself an advantage over other players.
2. Racism, sexism, homophobia or extensive swearing or harassment will not be tolerated in lobby/in-game chat in Multiplayer.

The Guidelines:
- Racism, sexism, homophobia and excessive language will not be tolerated. This extends to usernames, profile pictures, online chat in Multiplayer and vehicle/Tech names too.
- We are happy to hear about things you don't like regarding the game or the forums - so long as they are discussed in a constructive and positive way.
- Don't let any personal beefs come into play. We’re all friends here.
- Deliberately provoking and bullying other forum users will not be tolerated.
- No spamming links.
- If you're entering any TerraTech challenges or competitions, make sure you keep things lighthearted and fun.
- Help to defuse disagreements amongst other members of the community rather than exacerbate them.
- In the interests of maintaining harmony, try not to allude to, embellish upon or make claims about having preferred status among the community, regardless of your length of engagement with Payload Studios or TerraTech.
- All community mods and members of the dev team should be listened to equally. But only members of Payload Studios have the ability to confirm upcoming features within the game.
- The forums are for community members to stay in touch with each other and the dev team. Please be patient when awaiting a response from a member of the team to answer your question.
- We have community mods that will aim to answer your questions/problems when they can.
- If you have been banned from the forums and make a second account in order to subvert the ban - this is considered a bannable offense.
- This forum is a safe and friendly place for civil discussion regarding all things TerraTech. Any players considered to be inhibiting this will be removed.
- Payload Studios reserve the right to determine what is considered to be a player acting against these rules.
- How do I get FULL forum access?
- If you've paid for TerraTech Deluxe or the R&D Testbed access via Humble - you will receive a code that you'll need to send our way so we can verify your purchase and give you access. Alternatively, if you bought TT Deluxe/R&D through the TerraTech website - you will receive an email notifying you of your forum account status.
- Why am I getting an error when uploading an image to a forum post?
- There is currently a limit of 1MB on uploaded files. You can upload multiple files - so long as each file is under 1MB. Vehicle snapshots and game saves shouldn't go beyond this limit.
- What if my crash log or game.sav is bigger than 1MB?
- You can email bigger files like this to help@terratechgame.com with a detailed description of what is wrong and we'll endeavour to get it fixed as soon as we can.

- All ‘invaders’ created by players can potentially be shown in other players’ games.
- Please do not use rude, offensive or defamatory words or phrases for invader names or as your player name, or create offensive vehicle designs.
