Time to start a tech dump and save stuff on the forums because I have waaaay too much stuff on my comp (over 600 gigs to comb through and archive somewhere)

- 6x2 MK 0 DP secondary/aa turrets
- Complement of depth charges on hull bottom
- Cruising speed of 50 mph
- Can "anchor" in place
- Dynamic rangefinder

Concept for a floating artillery platform, later turned into a bomber. Originally had two bertha cannons on a swivel platform to converge.

Abandoned because despite the update we still CANNOT HOVER IN PLACE. seriously. Literally impossible unless you have godly luck.

B/c you have to:
1) Go up, so set thrust to above gravity neutralization
2) Slow down to below gravity neutralization (if you're equal, then you maintain your upwards velocity)
3) Speed up to the exact speed that you need to have the exact same lift as gravity forcing you down at the precise moment when your velocity is 0
If your lift needed is not at 0.1 thrust level, then you're SOL. The fact that lift increases in rough increments of around 0.3 makes this even worse.

seriously. It's easier to just flutter the thrust than to try that rocket science (literally)

(control blocks mod used)

With the introduction of Anti-Grav, the Banshee is finally able to appear

Banshee Mk I:
Banshee Agile.png
Can roughly hover at lift power ~87-88, until you decide to move, at which point it tilts and loses massive height
Can technically fly without antigrav at 100 lift, but it's reaaaaally close to the ground
Has enough space under-rotor to place a pair of HE Cannons if you reaaaally want to.

Banshee Mk II:

Swaps out a major axis gyro with an experimental gyro (the smaller one) for more stability: doesn't tilt around as much as prior version.
Everything else (except minor aesthetics) left untouched.
