Community Core is a live stream where we showcase the best creations players have made in TerraTech.

If you'd like to have your tech showcased you can submit your techs by attaching snapshots, game saves or Steam Workshop links in this thread.

You'll be able to watch them in action on Wednesday 25th September 2nd October from 4pm BST on Twitch:

A limit of no more than TWO Snapshots/Steam Workshops or 3 Techs in a GAME SAVE per player, please :) If submitting a GAME SAVE please specify if it's R&D or Creative in your submission.

NOTE: INSTRUCTIONS for how Techs should be shown must be displayed in RED. Text that is not marked this way will likely be ignored. All instructions must be written in no more than 140 characters. Attaching a video of the Tech in action to your thread is strongly advised.

This thread will be archived just before the stream to make way for the next wave of Community Core submissions.

To use the plane provided in the save, change the directions of all the conveyors. To turn off the engines, change the direction of the conveyors behind that engine. Normal plane controls are provided-be careful when making sharp turns as the resources may become dislodged

Agile little antigrav with a sniping reticle. Can harvest resources, and refine/charge/sell.
Charge First, W&S for Lift, and Tilt Vehicle with Arrow Keys.
A&D to turn and Q&E for Strafe.

Two toys for you guys to play around with.

Protector - Standard hovercraft controls. Oh no I forgot to remove that piece of missile block in the background. o_O

Bubble AI Drone - standard hovercraft controls. I suggest spawning a bunch around (fully charged) as bodyguards and go for the turret run.

Vermont Devil: Uhhhmmm… Fight I guess? Sure, let's go with that.

Bluun: Use Up/Down to increase/decrease height. That's how you increase the thrust of hover bugged airships, remember this Matt.

Load the creative save file. Drones come pre-deployed, everything is fully charged, and settings set as they should. Fight and try not to die!


Hammerhead Carrier: Yet another mobile base type hover with adjustable lift for use with its own set of Hatchet gathering/combat drones. Set lift to about about 11.5, press X, adjust lift on the hover power controller to the middle. Pitch using Up/Down arrows. Can fly using pitch controls.

Hatchet: Slightly slower than the Bee, but more heavily armed and armored the Hatchet is nearly impervious to small arms fire.

Creative (single player) save file "ZG Maraud Mothership":

Eat trees for more charge.
► Have fun taking out the enemies in the desert ahead (use manouvabilty to flank, etc).
Keep heading south to investigate reports of a hostile spaceship landing.


Snapshots included, for reference:

"Marauding Elephant" - an end game tech optimised for everything (except crafting) - deadly, robust, sleek looks, fast, fun, raids resources, charges and collects blocks without anchoring, does the Venture races/stunts, etc.

"AiDroneMothership" [Enemy version] - enemy population tech (just under ฿฿1M) that splits off 4 combat/collector drones. Under player control (of mothership) they return resources to be burns/sold and the mothership also recharges them as they pass.

Be very far away from enemy, move forwards or backwards then anchor (forwards is better for no recoil), aim, and FIRE

(yes that pic does have mods, mainly rain, but Cronkett doesn't use mods, in fact it's HE/BF only, just couldn't be bothered to turn mods off lol)
