After a brief hiatus Community Core is BACK!

Community Core is a live stream where we showcase the best creations players have made in TerraTech.

If you'd like to have your tech showcased you can submit your techs by attaching snapshots, game saves or Steam Workshop links in this thread.

You'll be able to watch them in action on Wednesday 11th September from 4pm BST on Twitch:

www.twitch.tv/terratechgame

A limit of no more than TWO Snapshots/Steam Workshops or 3 Techs in a GAME SAVE per player, please :) If submitting a GAME SAVE please specify if it's R&D or Creative in your submission.

NOTE: INSTRUCTIONS for how Techs should be shown must be displayed in RED. Text that is not marked this way will likely be ignored. All instructions must be written in no more than 140 characters. Attaching a video of the Tech in action to your thread is strongly advised.

This thread will be archived just before the stream to make way for the next wave of Community Core submissions.

A little fun I had in about an hour and a half. I tried to stay as true to a real Super Mario Sunshine and forwards thwomp design

DEMONSTRATION VIDEO LINK:

CONTROLS:
Hovercraft controls (although not optimised for lateral movement.)
Boost to thwomp stomp.
I refuse to accept that this isn't a screenshot from Mario Odyssey.

Comes with custom controls-shift to go up, WASD to move like normal
This tech comes with anchors and solar panels, so use them to charge faster

Sorry for the eyesore gunbrick, but I promise that this one's special

Shieldbreaker: a hovercraft which excels at taking down enemy shields and dismantling them with minimal damage to other parts. Its default control scheme also features roll-assisted turning for high speed banking turns. WASD + Q/E for movement, Up/Down arrows for pitch control (assists in going up very steep slopes and cliffs), charge before getting into fights.

No weapon system, no defensive bubbles
Wings are completely replaced by power aids.
When you stop the turbine engine, you will find that the steering is very flexible, even though he is so huge.

Here are two fine techs for your delectation. First up is the Sneezefire Ace, a twin-engined aeroplane designed to deliver freshly-baked missiles to happy (or deeply unhappy) customers:

Sneezefire Ace.png

Use the usual aeroplane controls. The Sneezefire Ace should be charged up if you're planning on taking it into danger. Try not to swoop right after firing the missiles, either, or they might explode against the fuselage.

In addition, we have Generational Unity, a fusion of GSO and Better Future technology with undermounted laser cannons:

Again, it should be charged up for the shield and repair bubbles. If you collect any resources, anchor the tech in order to sell them, as well as activating the solar panels.

Co-op creative SAVE file "ZG Gauntlet 1". Please read these instructions first:

Copy racer snapshot first (in case of 'accident').
Load save.
Switch to race car.
Drive through all race gates in order (green side).
Bonus points for enemy kills, but don't stop!
Time ends after defeating end boss.
Par for course 3 min.

"Рейдер Mod1" (aka Russian "Raider") - overhaul of an off-road style racer tech found in the game's Twitter tab. The most fun I've had driving around campaign style terrain in recent memory.:D

New enemy techs that also appear in save, just for reference:

"AI plane 1z" - well, technically a hover tech, but it moves a lot like a plane and will glide off the top of hills. Hover bug in the rear to keep it moving forwards. Venture dual auto-canons intended to help turn the tech towards its target when firing.

This will do a lot of damage and chase fairly fast but it always got stuck on the race gates, so just keep driving!

"ZG Parashu" - A recent enemy tech build (here on the workshop) thrown in a little randomly as the final boss. Actually has a lot of firepower, up close at the front, so keep moving while fighting it.

Based loosely on the sleek "Flight of the Navigator" alien spacecraft thing. And credit to Falchoin (and others) for using this type of configuration with the BF cyber disc lasers.

Edit: save on workshop | racer tech on workshop.
