I remember getting an email about a Sandbox mode.

It would be nice if there was a way to easily turn on and off enemy spawning and/or enemy AI while in sandbox mode. Then people could make the most amazing creations that they want to and easily test them against the AI without having to load them into a regular game.
Hey Zytukin,

As stated above, in the main game, the risk of being attacked whilst rebuilding a vehicle is intentional. Once the base unit is added you'll have the opportunity to build a small 'safe area' behind your base's shield (whilst it is powered) and behind the protection of your sentry turrets and guard drones. That will be the safest place to perform large rebuilds without a big risk of being attacked. The other option is to build bigger creations in the challenge modes where no enemies spawn.

We will be looking closely at the ability to spawn vehicles back into the main game in the coming weeks. We are aiming to set a main game progression that is reliant on gradually gaining access to more and more blocks that perform different functions as you explore the world and expand your reach. Being able to spawn any old vehicle into that would immediately break that progression.

Our solution might be to limit the loading of saved vehicles into the various challenges of the creative mode, or as you say, a 'horde challenge' type test area within the creative mode island.

Maybe you can add a form of blockade so that you can hide whilst you rebuild your weaponry? Just an idea. :)
Absolutely! That's exactly what the base unit's shield will be. To add to the shield you will also be able to build guard drones and sentinel towers.

I'd like to be able to set the strength of fans instead of the on/off way they're on now
Then stuff like helis are very easy to make
Also if were possible to have the a hover ( so just enough power to stay where you are in the air) would be greatly appreciated

Good to see you here on the forums :)

Yes, That sounds like a useful addition. I think that would come int he form of a fan designed by another corporation. You've got to remember that the GSO Fan is built by the GSO corporation, and they are supposed to be the most basic and simple versions of each block.

So when another corporation like Better Future is added, one of their main focuses is sustained flight parts (giro stabilisers, fuel efficient boosters and possibly variable power propeller fans). They will be the corporation to use if you want to build the best flying machines. GSO are only supposed to provide the bare minimum so that we have much better stuff for you to unlock further down the road.

Hi guys, I'd like to make a suggestion for a 1st person view... ;)
Perhaps... although we want to keep the controls simple and accessible for everyone. First person perspectives sometimes put off less experienced players.

It also makes it impossible to see the size of your vehicle so that you can navigate through tight areas.

Maybe we could try it as an alternate function for one of the other corporation's Cabs?

Something I think might need worked on is the camera following the SAP. Maybe a setting that the camera hold in the position you put it on the SAP, so if you move the camera to the left, it will stay on that spot till you move it.

Some things I would like to see in the game is:

blocks in the form of : Wedge slopes, Blocks with one corner sloped, Tetra corner blocks, these would be lovely for aesthetics BUT could also server for some form of defense that allows you to Defend your self from being rammed and flipped upside down.

Ofc i would like to see more "stylish" stuff as well like flashing/rotating lights, window blocks, flags even bodyparts so the ones that would like to get less blocky looks could achieve this (I imagine this could pull a bunch of interest).

Then how about stuff like pistons that could let you build slim machines but when you get into a fight, you could let the pistons push you slim highly armored vehicle apart to become an epic war machine .

Maybe some cool track in different sizes instead of just wheels to make the vehicle able to climb stuff like a proper tank, while we are at tanks, a big main gun, either long range non rotatable with area damage like a howitzer or a rotatable main gun, ofc with slower loading then smaller stuff, but bigger area of impact and longer range as well.

anti air shells, lasers, mirror shield to repel lasers, hey why not add in old fashoin stuff like giant battle axes, maces lances and other medieval contraptions (would be a cool arena mode aka hack and slash, no bullets)

hey i could go on for hours here, but let other bring ideas aswell :p

Hinges - so a vehicle could bend while steering, or bend when going over hills. Players could make amazing articulated vehicles.

Motorized Hinges - so one can attach guns to it and manually aim them at enemies. Or attach other things to help prevent being flipped, or help climbing over obstructions (like when a damn rock respawns under you causing you to get high-centered). With a motorized hinge, that giant robot creation in the recent kickstater email could have moving arms.

Wheels with shocks and possibly adjustable shock strength - To help prevent a wheel or two from being in the air when going over a hill.


All of these things combined could make for some really interesting huge creations.

We will eventually have more information about each block available in a 'block info' UI screen or perhaps a 'block-pedia', however, the demo is still at a reasonably early stage so it will be a little while before we can offer that level of detail.
I'm glad to hear that. Still glad I asked, because I can't read minds, especially over the Internet.

FYI, I usually go by Jaime. It's an acronym of my initials.

It would be nice to see some sort of missile system that would require you to go back to a base to rearm. Which in turn could create the need for supply vehicles and logistics or a mobile factory if you decide to lay siege to a base with strong shields or other defenses.

If there is going to be a day/night cycle then it would be awesome to have some sort of stealth gameplay mechanics available such as, having radar systems and radar jamers on vehicle to 'hide' them from enemy vehicles.

I would love if there was some sort of spaceflight/colonization aspect the the game. This would open the the door to having large servers and sending over your vehicles to destroy your friends which would be a lot of fun.
