Hey everybody, SRQ here!
As probably everyone here has a dream about what TT needs to become the best game ever I thought why not make this thread to listen to some of your ideas?

Open your heart and tell us what TerraTech (TT) needs to have to be really great for you!

Could it be..
-weapons?
-vehicle parts?
-gameplay?
-[...]

Tell us about your dream Terra Tech! :)

Personally would like Online Multiplayer and then the possibly to make mining teams to work together to better to corporations but this could lead to battle arena style game play which is too similar to Robocraft. So unsure how it could be placed.

But I like the idea of helping other players building a HQ and booming Mining Business.

Sounds good! We are intending to do on-line multiplayer at some stage (as stated in our stretch goals), however, we need to expand the team to achieve that, which we are working on. We can't promise it yet, until we have more money and support behind the game. But totally agree with you that it will be awesome when we can do it!

Oh this would be cooool!
Agreed, that is absolutely necessary. We will do something about it. I'm more in favour of simply allow the camera to be shifted up and down to view below and above, but we'll have to have a toy around with it a see what we can do.

As someone who plays games like this to build big and creative things rather than for the challenge, I'd love to see difficulty modes, and perhaps the ability to pause while in build mode in the lower difficulties.

Yeah, one of the things which was annoying about the demo is that I had trouble placing things on the bottom of the vehicle.

Also, it would be nice to have access to more detailed stats about it while in build mode (such as speed, weight, etc). Maybe a window off to the side or something.

Hey Box,

We aim to stagger difficulty through game progression (starts easy and ends hard).

As for building in peace, yes! it can be done in any of our challenge modes. If/when we do the creative mode, you'll also be able to build in peace with that.

For main game building it is supposed to be dangerous at the moment, a big re-build is a risk. However, once we have the base in there (coming soon!), you'll be be able to protect yourself by rebuilding at your base behind your shield and under the protection of any guard drones and sentinel towers that you have constructed.

Hey Jai,

We will eventually have more information about each block available in a 'block info' UI screen or perhaps a 'block-pedia', however, the demo is still at a reasonably early stage so it will be a little while before we can offer that level of detail.

Forum categories ideas:
  • News (mostly for the devs to post but for the community to comment on)
  • General/main discussion (General topics about the game)
  • Suggestions (for the community to sen in Suggestions)
  • Groups/clans (a place to create groups and find other people to play with)
  • games and hardware (maybe not necessary but a place to talk about other games and gaming hardware)
  • Ramblings (already exists)
  • Bugs (already exist)

Hey Toybear,

We will be posting our news to the TT Main board. I'll make a suggestions board now if you like. I'm not sure we need the other ones just yet, maybe later on!

I remember getting an email about a Sandbox mode.

It would be nice if there was a way to easily turn on and off enemy spawning and/or enemy AI while in sandbox mode. Then people could make the most amazing creations that they want to and easily test them against the AI without having to load them into a regular game.

I'd like to see terrain that is nicer to look at which generally makes a nicer photo to share with everyone. :)

I'd like to be able to set the strength of fans instead of the on/off way they're on now
Then stuff like helis are very easy to make
Also if were possible to have the a hover ( so just enough power to stay where you are in the air) would be greatly appreciated
