I don't think this is new. I'm sure something like this already exists. I'm very new to using axels, barrings, rings, etc. I haven't actively played TerraTech for about 6 or so months. Also, sorry for the misplaced block on the left of the tech and terrible FPS. Now for the concept:

0:13 I simply split the tech.
0:24 I locked the gate in place.
0:35 I loaded my dummy tech.
0:40 I put the gate back into place.
0:50 This is the first way to secure the gate, but there is also a second.
1:00 I pressed shift to show its security.
1:04 This is the second way to secure the gate.
1:46 The laser blasters helped make the gate go back into place.
    1:57 I unanchored the tech

    Side notes:
The lasers are there so that the gate automatically goes back into place and doesn't go too much towards one side. Fairly simple concept. I decided that if I was gonna get back into TT, I might as well experiment with something new. And the carrying capacity of the vehicle isn't realized because of the amount of space the gate takes up, but this can be solved by moving the gate backwards into a box that's on a higher level.

I'm currently making a *small* carrier using this concept.

I have used that concept to make some carrier in the past.
