A HE Quadcopter with ALL the weapons by HE that are functional on fliers. An upgrade from my old Flying Tank, with improvements on most aspects. Well balanced, higher firepower, better control, Etc.

Flying Tips

Set throttle to 82%
Use thruster to go up
A,D to turn left or right
Up & down arrow to go forward and back
Left & Right arrow to strafe

Since this doesn't use any glitches, and heli controls can be pretty frustrating for people, I suggest you keep the throttle at 82 and try to adjust height by using the thrusters in bursts. Also, try to only input movement in one axis at a time: ex) don't go forward and strafe at the same time(at least until you get used to which input does what).

Aiming Tip
20190216111847_1.jpg
Lining up the 4 landing skids is pretty accurate. it will depend on how fast you are moving and what not, but it does give you a pretty good idea where the tech is pointing. You can also align the red chimneys up top with the lazer turrets at the front, but the visibility isn't great with the resource chunks on the silo.

If a target is below you, the miniguns and cannons will shoot you upwards, so it's a good idea to lower the throttle a little.

The most effective use would be when it's hovering at about 100 to 200ft, slowly inching towards the target. Pointing the nose down to hit targets will just make you fly past the target, so it's better to back away instead and keep distance.

A venture Strike Jet I'm calling "Zipp" for it's agility. Uses the new retractable wheels.
This is a heavier and less tidy looking variant, but faster with extra thrusters. Adding in thrusters with props will get it to 208mph, letting it dodge missiles or get out of their range before they get to you, while giving you quicker turning as well.
The front minigun hits well as long as you are flying directly into the target from up high.

Somehow, it drives really well on land as well. Switch to car controls with "C" when landed

Please do tell me what you think! Cheers

Ghoardy
Early to mid campaign aircraft packed with functionality. Only upto grade 2 items used.
The name's a combination of Gordy and Hoardy for how it looks like it's a little thing that wants way too many weapons for itself.
With just the propeller, it kidna sits still at an angle where it barely gains altitude.
2 Jets to get it to almost 160mph and 3 fuel tanks to keep them going.

Most guns seem pretty useless on planes because of the targeting, but those venture rifles seem to hit pretty well to my surprise. Good for taking down helpless techs and not making this another boring missile plane lol
Streamlined blocks would make it look a bit better, but I was focusing on being early game obtainable

This is a second rendition of the Drone XXL with more utility and firepower.
In the XXL, I wasn't into how storing chunks on top of the tech was blocking the view, as well as some other quirks.
With the bigger Jets, it can actually hit 100mph if you really need it to.

Cannon Aiming Tip
20190219103424_1.jpg
First set the camera up close and high. Slowly inch towards the Target and line up the chimney with the conveyors up front. Fire when target is just about covered by the chimney.

Flying Tips
- A,D to turn left or right
- Up & down arrow to go forward and back
- Left & Right arrow to strafe

Since this doesn't use any glitches and heli controls can be pretty frustrating for people, I suggest you keep the throttle at 82% and try to adjust height by using the thrusters in bursts. Also, try to only input movement in one axis at a time: ex) don't go forward and strafe at the same time(at least until you get used to which input does what).

To go down, briefly bring the Throttle Down to the 70s and back up. Tap thrusters to slow descent.
If a target is below you, the miniguns and cannons will shoot you upwards, so it's a good idea to lower the throttle as well.

Note on the Generator and Delivery Cannon Setup
As you can probably tell, the front loop filters unrefined chunks to refine them and move them onto the silos. The filter on the left silo is set to rubber blocks, so you can reserve chunks for when you are out, while selling off rubber that you will get from devouring wood. If you get other resources clogging up the silo, you will have to drag and drop one of them onto the filter to sell them off. Just remember to do the same to the filter at the very back.

Had this one around for a bit, but I just put together a video for it, so I thought it was about time. lol I understand people are finding it a bit challenging to fly... but the video is done on the version without gyro's on board. If you ease yourself in with the gyro versions, and try to keep the throttle around 50% while pumping Ctrl to manage altitude, you will get the hang of things pretty quick!

Here is also a link to the one WITH GYRO's for easy learning.

Flat Runner
My old salt flat racer for beating challenges. The formerly EXP Wheels got assigned to venture, so I thought I'd upload it now(I don't like uploading stuff that aren't really campaign viable). Hits 220mph pretty easily, and has repair bubbles to heal from bumps and scratches. I guess I could make it faster, but I don't think I want it to get any bulkier and lose the form factor and the handling.

Hawkeye MPCV(above) and MPCV-L(below)
Mid-battle electricity generating tank with enough firepower to handle most campaign enemies.
Harvest Resources with the drill and it will automatically refine and sell the Non-Fuels and store the fuel chunks in the silo.
You can drag Chunks onto the filter that leads to the 6 Generators, to specifically choose a certain kind to burn.
Filtering Fuel Chunks Only or Everything works too(Although the "Light" variant's conveyor line doesn't loop back, so if there were non-fuel chunks in the silo for some reason, they will clog up the line a little.)

I like the Light one better for the block cost, nimbleness, and looks, personally. What would you say...?

I'm going to give this a try. I notice the recoil on the HE autocannons is so bad it can mess with tech handling, especially with aerial techs. Do you have that issue with this? I am still thinking about how to handle it on one of my helies...

Yeah it's good to see someone shares my pain lol
On the Zipp though, the recoil is manageable since the gun is mounted near the center of mass(vertically), and the amount of wings and rudders is pretty high for the length of the plane.
Funny cuz I originally "mirrored" the minigun by putting one up top as well lol I didn't like the look though. Putting side mounted ones also mirrored right behind the Cab also worked, but I thought is was too little "practical" firepower gained for so much weight added. Ballistic weapons are nearly useless for fast moving techs anyway lol.
For solving the recoil issue on heli's, You could try "mirroing" the gun at the back if that suits your design. Worked for my quad copter type thing here - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1593618179 - although when the gun points elsewhere, it gets a bit outta control lol
Obviously would be less of a problem the heavier the tech.

Floater Mortar
Half Tank, Half Hovercraft, with Easy Cannon Angle Adjustment with Arrow Keys.
Ironsight for sort of a Grenade Launcher-like Crosshair. And everything nice.

1. Up & Down Arrow to raise/lower the front.
2. Line up enemy in the center of the RING and in between the front posts.
3. Where in the front post you line up at is how far you will shoot.

An Iron-Sighted Flying Monster with 16 Battleship Cannons!
If you can see it, you can hit it.
Up arrow to set throttle to 100 and hit ctrl when you need some umph.
Watch the video for Precision Aiming Tips. For long range, you need to have less and less of the front post covered by the back post, while still having the top of the front one on the target.
The Dual Heli Blades make the Yaw Turning very effective.
Repair/Shield Bubbles Included for Campaign viability.

BHS "Broady" - Steam Link - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1810706838
Has an underside harvesting system and mid-battle charging capability. Top speed around 100mph with decent agility.
Pretty standard hovercraft control with SHIFT set to Rockets for easy access.

1.Up & Down Arrow lets you fine tune the hover height on the fly. Can be anchored as well for charging with solar.

2.For combat, I recommend trying to match up the altitude with the enemy and broadsiding them at a medium distance.

3.The Auto Refining/Furnace Charging Station has multiple filters ; 1.the two filters towards the front of the ship lets you choose what to sell from the silo. 2.The one on the right and towards the back lets you keep burning one furnace with a chosen resource to keep the shield and battery up. 3.The Left one towards the back lets you go all out and charge mid-battle, negating weak-moderate attacks entirely.

4.To Harvest, lower the Hover height a little(down arrow) and use the bottom mounted lazers.

ZGrav Torpedo - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1822203903&searchtext=
Here's a go at a smooth lookin' AntiGrav!
A Zero Gravity Craft with Hoverpads. Flies stably like a plane, except you want to use A&D to turn with "yaw" since it's easier and quicker.
To fly, turn on the block controller on the right side. Shield and Repair bubble controls are on the left.
Shift to go forward, Ctrl is Prop + Boost. To roll and pitch the vehicle, use the arrow keys^^

@ZeroGravitas had suggested that I move the front spoiler up on the original and he's done his verison of it(which is awesome), but here is my take on it with how I would like it to look. Can't go wrong with cruise missiles either lol.
Top speed is 235mph, and 133mph without thrusters. Should still be plenty for outrunning missiles.
Pitch Set to Q&E to control the nose when you get airborne

Downfiring Antigrav with Harvest+Mobile Refining+Charging+Selling. Huge Resource Storage capability that sorts fuels separately.

**CONTROLS**
W&S for altitude - When holding down fire, press S to counter the upward recoil
A&D to Turn, Arrow Keys for horizontal movements
Shift is also for moving foward(I wish I could put Ctrl for backward)
Try to look at the radar to line up just above the target, and 500ft is the distance that weapons start tracking.

Features
-Drills for Harvesting without firing weapons : Turn off the Antigrav and press W to come down to resources from above.
-Filters let you choose to use 1 to 4 generators. 2 should be enough for countering the Antigrav and bubbles.
-Payload : 12 Battleship Cannons, 6 Monster Mortars, 8 Cruise Missiles, 8 Seeker Missiles, 4 Zeus Lasers, 4 Hunter Railguns, 4 DFA Mortars.
-Separate Block Controllers for Shield, Repair, AntiGrav, and Hover.
-The Conveyor Line automatically stacks fuels towards the Silo with the filter leading to the Furnaces. Note that there are Charging in both front and back of the craft.
-Filters to move desired chunks to either the fuel silo or the selling silo.
-Scrappers to get fuel anywhere. Anchor, and put some GSO Compressed Fuel Blocks in the scrappers. Dropping from above works too.
-Selective selling with filters.
-BF Stab. Computer for holding positions, 4 HE Gyros to keep things upright
-8 BF Solar Generators

The new additions to the Venture Pest Series. This one cruises at 116mph and 227mph with boost. The 4 fuel tanks let you zoom for a long while. Gyro and Stab.Computer included for ease of use.

I realized I could weigh the vehicles so W&S could naturally give altitude and pitch control. Makes it quite intuitive to fly with just one hand. Shift to go foward, Ctrl for Boost.
