Here is my Star Wars CR 90 Corvette. It is unarmed, top speed of 146 mph, and is decently small and cheap
I know that the number of engines is wrong, but it increases the speed and also makes it easier because odd numbers are easier to work with. I'm thinking of removing the fuel tanks on the sides to give it more shape. Feel free to modify it!
Here is my Rebellion Y-Wing Bomber:
It has 2 lasers on the front and two cruise missiles. The cruise missiles were the closest I could get to proton torpedoes. It can turn, unlike the corvette above, but the turning is very slow. Has a couple gyros to prevent it from flipping and smashing into the ground which will result in the lasers coming off. Take off with shift only. I am aware that it looks like a garbled mess and that it does not look like a Y-Wing ( color ). The shape somewhat resembles a Y-Wing though. Took 45 Minutes to build and is my second flying tech.
Alright, I fixed the Y-Wing and here it is ( head may be a little small ):
Take off with both shift and W. When you get into the air, release W and hold shift. Turning is normal.
Here is my A-Wing ( Took me 30 min to build so might not be that good but still is ):
Take off with shift only. Every control is normal, but turning takes a lot of time to master with this thing. WARNING: Do NOT Hold W and A or D for extended periods. Doing so will smash you into the ground.
Funny story... This thing was gliding backwards during early stages of devlopment
Well, yes, I noticed, and I kinda fixed corvette already, just haven't posted the pic, but the A-wing is supposed to be small, and there is no more room in the A-Wing to put decoration ( it was basicly the rebilion's TIE fighter ).
Moving the fuel tanks made the head more apperent. I might move the fuel tank on the rside forwards a little and attach it with a HE elbow bracket. Again, all of these builds are going to be small so there will be little decoration. Thanks for the feedback!
I do not know if you checked my thread, but I have few spaceships, and I know how to build various tech shapes and to make them fly without hover glitch. If you want inspiration, link to my thread is in my signature, or you can search through my blog with lot more models. Then you can tear apart my models to see how they fly, and I also can give you advice and some answers about how to build big flying things. BTW I really like everybody who want to build unusual tech.
My advice is to go bigger. For CR90 use big GSO mega boosters and build rest of the ship compared to that size.
Well, yes, I could, but I always tend so build really small, and then everything becomes the same size. I did think of using the mega booster to get the number of thrusters right.
If you use 4 megaboosters with one space betwen it is 11 blocks wide... that is small. My big planes are 50 blocks wide... And atm I am building space ship of 62x62... so 11 is just in lower medium range.

The TIE fighter is very maneuverable and can go for a decent period of time with out refueling. The TIE Interceptor, though, is really bad. I don't know why, it just is.
Well, I could, but the corvette is already faster than all the other ships. Also, I want to reserve the mega boosters for the Imperial Star Destroyers. My plan is to have space battles in atmoshpere when multiplayer comes out. Hopefully that works out well.

See, you may nee to build another one to scale with the other ships, because ( funny story ) I used yours in creaitve to get to a salt flat and I noticed that it has more weapons than the acutal one has. Still, its a good build, but too big compared to the techs I'm building. It could just basically ram into everything else and destroy everything. In fact, I'm going to downsize the Y-Wing I made to make it to scale.
I made some adjustments to the corvette ( again )and here it is!:
I'm planning to make an Imperial Light Cruiser and a TIE Bomber as a counterpart the Y-Wing. I will also fix the Y-Wing because it is too big.
Sorry, I had to try to build them myself. But your mini ships are what I can never build.. that small.
I won't be uploading any techs for a while because I want to display them all as a set.
The way this "space battle" is going to work is each side has:
1 capital ship
3 small starfighters
2 medium star fighters
1 ( or 2 ) bomber(s)
1 juggernaut ( ex. B-wing. no laser, just HE railgun )
Numbers will be adjusted depending on how multiplayer works. Current number of people needed is 18-20 people.
After I finish all the ships for the space battle, I might make other ridcously small techs that actually work
Go for it! Scenario like that is worth waiting. Just please do not wait for multiplayer, as it will come in few months. Most optimistic is to expect it from September onward. So as soon as you have all ships. You can even ask @reaperx1 to make showcase of your techs when you are done.
The Showcase Auditions are always open and welcoming to all. That is the goal at least .

I haven't uploaded in a while on this thread so I figure I should give you my half-finished Star destroyer
Sorry For really bad pic but the game sometimes just can't load it all in. I know the cab is in the front, and that is because I ahven't built the control tower yet. Steering makes you drift and is backwards ( I used 5-way steering hovers ).
