Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to give a quick update about what's happening to the Studio as a result of recent advice from the UK Government regarding COVID-19. Essentially, the advice we have been given is that we should avoid all non-essential social contact. This means that as of today, 17/03/2020, all Payload Studios staff will be working remotely (from home).

So how much will this affect TerraTech? At the moment it's too early to tell. We're still working on all the things outlined in our latest Roadmap Update which we will aim to release as soon as possible. However, due to the unprecedented steps we've taken, there may be some kinks to iron out from a practical point of view. This may result in slower progress than we're used to but our intention is still to carry on working on TerraTech as normal, just in different buildings.

Feel free to ask any questions in this thread. We'll be here to answer any of them :)

Can you guys add a option to turn off inaders? Both when making a save and when you are in a save. And please add a option to turn off/change difficulty and how many enemies that spawns.
It have happend to many times that my base got eliminated by those dumb invaders.

Hey devs! I don't know if this is the right post for this kind of questions but, (Just for some context, I've read some of your comments on steam threads regarding the "barrier" that appears when you go too far away from your friends while playing on coop mode and I know the following is not near close to being a priority) can reducing the size of the area that is loaded around you upon you being there and sending the data from the ones who joined the session to the "host" be a way to be able to remove the "barrier" (or at least an option to do this)? I know it should reduce a lot the performance and I really feel talking while blind as I am speaking to the very ones who put this game together but singleplayer runs really smooth most of the time, if the area loaded is a bit bigger but not necessarily next to the other loaded areas would this be possible? Obviously here I'm talking about 2-3 at maximum players on the map as more would probably result in a reaaaally laggy session. In this conditions could this be viable? As in multiplayer you would think the game would progress faster but as you can't do things alone and each player can accept quests I find myself stacking quests and not really being able to complete all of them as most of the time lost due to this is travelling time... Also it would make the game a lot more versatile.
Amazing game btw, keep up the good work and wash your hands :)
Stay safe!
