(1.4.6.1) Friendly charger tech isn't charging my tech

...as you can see, the charger is powering up with bubbles and repairs, but it won't charge my plane.

another possible work arround is to add more wireless chargers to the charger tech, BUT it does indicate the bug is REAL and only for subsequent charges, just not the first charge

Hey guys, thanks for reporting this. I've looked into it and I think there's something about the save state of the charger tech itself which is causing the issue. If anyone has any other examples of charger techs not working, if they could share the snapshot of the tech that would be very helpful, cheers!

I had it happen with the R&D starting charger,
when I loaded r&D it charged the tech,
then went and did a couple of the combat testings noticed low charge,
went back to start to get charge,
did not charge (and also the charge level on the batteries of the charger was low),
added geo wireless chargers to the charger,
started to transfer from the NEW wireless chargers only.

I have the same issue in R&D, i haven't tried restarting the game but for some reason the Venture co chargers still work so in good-ish..

Edit:
Ok never mind that. The venture co stopped working, mid game and GSO started working for a few seconds before breaking again.

@harpo99999 Was this happening in a brand new R&D save game made in 1.4.6.1? Or was it an older one made from a previous version?

@Adriano I have had that problem with a tech built in a brand-new R&D world.

None of the charger techs that i tried worked. New r&d game.

it is brand new r&d started after 1.4.6.1 update was installed, I added batts , old sheilds, new sheilds and guns to the R&d tech that has 3 balloon wheels, and initally it was the stock starting charger, but after going elseware (target range then turret range) and going back to start, the stock charger would not tranfser to my tech (batteries on charger were low( would have expected full charge) and only charged my tech after adding wireless chargers to the stock charger

I haven't had the time to write a post but so you might already have pin-pointed the problem. For me the issue is that when i place a new charger it works fine, but when i move a charger _all_ chargers of that brand stops working. see this quick video i made (sorry i just couldn't be bothered to do a voice-over or cut it)

it does appear to be fixed at present in 1.4.6.2,
but will the fix break in a future update (hope not)?
