Well, it kind of can, a bit, if you get it lined up just right. But only a little way compared to the self-knock-back.

And on an enemy tech, they are effectively useless verses player techs (I've tried testing a couple of different setups in the past, but only just now got around to posting about it).


I was kinda surprised when they came out of EXP suddenly, to be honest, given that I knew their utility was limited and function was a bit weird and glitchy, in terms of how the knock-back effect works.


Edit:

Demo throwing a light block tech a little, but it doesn't seem viable for, say, making something like Lucio-ball in Co-op creative. (I think the booped tech just gets offset and doesn't really aquire much/any speed, even if on trailer wheels.)

Agreed, the range is abysmally low.

Given the utility aspect of this “weapon” I feel we really need weapon groups, or at least an alt-fire button for utility. Could make for some fun hover builds with immediate juking capabilities to dodge incoming fire.
