[0.8.1.1] GeoCorp Techs Not Protected by Initial Spawn Shield

As Title Implies; GeoCorp Techs are not protected by the initial Spawn Shield bubble and can be shot immediately; this leaves such techs at an inherent disadvantage in Multiplayer rounds.

Initial observations seem to show that this issue has been fixed in 0812. IF anyone encounters this please reply here.

I encounter this in 0.8.1.3 occasionally. Not with bullets exactly, but damaging or moving the tech in the bubble. It also appears that although there can be times when the bubble repels, it does near nothing to larger techs. This allows enemies to move the inner tech out of the bubble, while often giving collision damage if going fast enough. Well, that's what I recall at least.
