0.6.2 Stable - Trying to Max Out the Licenses

With the coming of a new stable build so close the the last update I decided to continue on with my previous save in order to actually max out the licenses. I haven't had any issues yet that would be caused by the old save to the best of my knowledge. This could be the start of something cool if all goes as planned.


Any questions, suggestions or comment post them below. I'd love to hear from all of you.

Another piece of the exciting adventure I call Out N About 0.6.2. As exciting as can be that is. I am getting closer to maxing the licences out, but it is taking way longer then I thought. Good thing there are lots of enemies to shoot at inbetween encounters.


One thing that I noticed was when I maxed out the GSO license the last time I kept getting more GSO missions then the other corp missions. When a license is maxed out those encounters should happen the least I think. Having the other corp missions taking priority so that we can max out the licenses without it taking forever just to find the right encounters for the corp you need.

I am still hunting down encounters with the goal of maxing out the three licences. I get closer with every episode, but at this rate it will take another hundred episodes. I think I am going to change things up a bit after the next video. Just because the next one is already made and it has some good info scattered throughout it. I need to streamline my video's to make them jam packed with goodness.
There has been some pretty good battles along the way, but the enemies are slowly losing there advantage as I unlock more and more blocks.

I took a little break from the campaign and headed for the Gauntlet. I tried to stream again and have figured some stuff out, but I don't think there is too much more I can do to keep the quality of the video. If I do frames get dropped like crazy. There is still one more thing to try.
The Gauntlet seems to be working about the same as last time I played. No real pauses or lag to mention. The only problem I ran into was when I respawned and some of my blocks where just floating behind me.

Part 4 of my Out N About series for 0.6.2 I am getting even closer to my goal, but it takes so long. Things will be a bit different in the next video.
Unfortunetly I had to take my escort tech apart. He was acting like the wrong kind of escort with all that pressing up on me. I have had a few problems getting up some of the hills still while driving forward, but if I back up the hill it is no problem at all. The rugged wheels on the front seem to be slipping.

Hi Reaperx1, yah I tried the AI (both types) in .0.6.2 and they still hump my tech like a Mississippi dog although the combat tech did shoot at the enemy tech's so I guess that's something...

Hi Reaperx1 Geo Corp wireless charger....charges the same but it has a farther range for recharging your batteries
Venture = shortest distance
GSO = med range

Hello Grg3d, how's it goin'?
I love the range on the Geocorp wireless charger. Awesome for bases and big tech charging.
It seemed like the Venture wireless charger charged faster, but I may be wrong. I was just excited to have finally found it.

With this the fifth episode in this series of 0.6.2 Out N About I changed things up a bit. I think it is for the best, but let me know if I am headed in the right direction.
This one has a bit of everything, a bit of building, a bunch of battling and a few licenses getting maxed out. Now it is time for some more base building and such.

I have had a bit of trouble getting this video finished. I had to remake half of it and I didn't even cheat at all for the money I needed to regain. It was only a million and a half. Nothing to big.;)
Anyway I have wanted to test my Reap Air tech in the campaign and so I set a new goal for myself and acheived it.
This is more of a story with some helpful tid bits of info scattered throughout.
Now that I think I am back on track things should get better.

No I needed another 1.5 million. The plane was 3.7 million BB's in total. With the backup save I had I only needed to regain the lost 1.5 million.

Since testing my plane and getting promising results I am now wondering what else I should test out. So in this video I tried out a few idea's I had while in the R&D. They worked good enough to motivate me to build them in the main game for some real testing. So far everything has worked out pretty good with a few occassions where I needed to play around with things to get them to work, but they did work in the end. To some extent. It's not perfect, but still an idea I plan to continue with.

I liked that one too. I was glad it worked. I have a ton of idea's that would benefit from that. Now it is just finding time to builld atleast some of them.

I got back to some working on the railroad and got a few more sections finished. I wish there was a snap to grid option for this kind of stuff. It takes the longest just to line things up when covering long distances. Oh well, I can work away at it until I finish. It may take a while though.
I could only build for so long before I had the urge to blow something up and that was that. I headed out for some battling and I was not dissapointed. The only problem is that my tech is slow which causes boring spots between battles. Don't worry I cut those out. It did get me thinking and I come to the conclusion that a rebuild may be in order.

Hi Reaperx1, look what you've done! I went and made an underground base works great! but I do fabricate items above ground its just easier....anyway I thought you would like to see a picture...

It sorts out the resources I don't want to make ingots with and takes out the Hydrocarbon & Carbius bricks for burning....

The whole base has got only 2 sets of bubbles for protection, I'll be doing this with my mini recharging stations as you can charge your tech's from underground .

The visible foot print for the mini charging stations is only 2 blocks showing above ground with a healing & shield bubble force field showing (its about half of a sphere)
