    While testing out the level 5 GSO missions for the new explosive bolts techs (in campaign) I found that my tech had gone silent after the big battles slaughter. Eriely quiet when driving - the engine/drive ambient noise was broken. I got the same issue in R&D after slaying all the turrets...

    Only just noticed this. I think it's universal and inescapable in R&D mode, unless I'm very confused, or hallucinating. It adds texture to an empty sound-scape, but it's also tortuous.

    I gather there's been changes to sound FX, maybe optimisations, even. All fans and propellers currently make no sound while running, when their tech is anchored. Even if they are helping turn a rotating anchor, etc. Rocket boosters seem unaffected, by comparison.

    After firing, the Venture Avalanche missile launchers now make a little whirring, vacuum cleaner like noise, which then stays on continuously until the part is detached. You'll need sound turn up for this one: Not *all* launchers had this issue after firing, as shown above, only 8 out of 10...

    Engine sounds stop working

    The sounds for the engine stop working, but all other sounds work like the wheels going on different terrain, the gun sounds, ambient sounds, etc. Only the engine sounds stop.

    loud music almost silent sfx

    sorry if this has been asked before but in my game at the normal settings for my comp the music is very loud and if i want to hear the new sfx i have to turn off the music and crank my volume almost to full ..... is there a fix for this? (config file/etc)

    After playing Terratech for a bit I found myself turning off the background music and putting on some radio. The reason was simple, the same track, although chearful, keeps repeating itself over and over. This could have a (temporary) simple fix by taking some appropriate open license music...
